The DDE-DWH is a storage engine similar to DDE-GAN. A cluster storage engine enabling unique distribution of the data on the nodes. While the DDE-GAN engine distributes the data according to predictive methods ensuring a high locality of the data DDE-DWH distributed the data according to the I/O performance of the underlying hardware. Also the redundant options available in the DDE-GAN engine are modified since a complete distribution across multiple locations is not required. With the horizontal partitioning of the data in the engine we enable a fast query answering time with only very little overhead.
